अनिल बलूनी के प्रयास से रामनगर में प्रस्तावित उत्तराखण्ड के पहले बस पोर्ट को केन्द्र से मिली हरी झंडी
आधुनिक सुविधाओं से युक्त उत्तराखण्ड का पहला बस पोर्ट रामनगर में बनाए जाने को लेकर केंद्र सरकार ने हरी झंडी दे दी है। 27 करोड़ की लागत से बनने वाले बस पोर्ट के लिए एनएचआईडीसीएल (नेशनल हाइवे ईनफ्राटेक्क्चर डेवलपमेंट कारपोरेशन) द्वारा बाकायदा आठ मई को निविदा भी जारी कर दी है।
उत्तराखंड राज्यसभा सांसद अनिल बलूनी के प्रयास से गढ़वाल और कुमाऊं के प्रवेश द्वार रामनगर में आधुनिक बस पोर्ट का निर्माण अब जल्द ही शुरू हो जाएगा।
मार्च 2019 में इस कार्य को सड़क परिवहन मंत्री नितिन गडकारी द्वारा संस्तुति दे दी गई थी. जिसके लिए अनिल बलूनी ने अथक प्रयास किए थे। मई 2020 में केंद्र सरकार के द्वारा बस पोर्ट निर्माण हेतु नोटिस द्वारा निविदा आमंत्रित कर दी गई है । लगभग 27 करोड़ की राशि से बनने वाला यह बस पोर्ट 12 माह की अवधि में बनकर तैयार हो जाएगा।
