कैंची धाम के 56 सालों के इतिहास में यह पहला मौका है जब स्थापना दिवस 15 जून को यहां मेले का आयोजन नहीं हो रहा है। हालांकि इस मौके पर हजारों भक्त उन्हें दिल से याद कर रहे हैं। यहां हर साल 15 जून को भव्य मेले का आयोजन होता रहा है। स्थापना दिवस के मौके पर हजारों की तादात में श्रद्धालु के अलावा कईं प्रशासनिक अधिकारी व उधोगपति, बड़े कारोबारी कैंची धाम पहुँचते हैं । बाबा भक्तों के जीवन पथ को सही दिशा में ले जाने के लिए प्रेरणा श्रोत व मार्गदर्शन करने की प्रार्थना करते हैं। स्थापना दिवस के मौके पर नीब करोरी महाराज को नमन करते हुए देश दुनिया की खुशहाली की प्रार्थना करती है। बाबा को नीम करौली महाराज के नाम से जाना जाता है है।
फेसबुक के संस्थापक मार्क जुगरबर्ग व ऐप्पल के सीईओ स्टीब जॉब्स जैसी अंतरराष्ट्रीय ख्याति प्राप्त हस्तियां बाबा के कृपा पात्रों में शामिल रहे हैं। नैनीताल समेत पूरे उत्तराखंड के लोगों में लोग बाबा के प्रति अगाध श्रद्धा है। समिति प्रबंधक विनोद जोशी ने बताया कोरोना के चलते इस बार स्थापना दिवस पर विधिवत धार्मिक अनुष्ठान कर पूजन किया गया। जिसमें मंदिर के पुजारी ही शामिल हुए।
