ऋषिकेश- शहर पर जब भी संकट आता है प्रथम नागरिक के रूप में महापौर अनिता ममगाई अपने फर्ज को जिम्मेदारी के साथ अदा करती दिखती हैं। उस वक्त सच साबित हो गई जब नगर की बड़ी सब्जी मंडी में कोरोना के विस्फोट के बाद महापौर तमाम खतरों को दरकिनार कर सैनेटाइजेशन के लिए मोर्चा संभालते हुए खुद मैदान में उतर आई। ऋषिकेश बड़ी सब्जी मंडी में कोरोनावायरस के मामलों में मंडी समिति के अध्यक्ष सहित सात स्थानीय नागरिकों के कोरोना पाजिटिव पाये जाने के बाद मचे हड़कंप के बीच नगर निगम महापौर ने आज सुरक्षा के दृष्टिगत निगम के सफाई के अमले को सैनिटाइजेशन में लगा दिया। बीती शांम मंडी समिति में कोरोना की दस्तक के बाद महापौर द्वारा तमाम मंडी परिसर को पूरी तरह से सैनेटाइज कराया गया था। गुरुवार को निगम प्रशासन ने अपने सैनेटाइजेशन अभियान को संभावित खतरों को देखते हुए पूरी रफ्तार दे दी ।नगर निगम गेट के बाहर महापौर की अगुवाई में फोगिंग कराई गई। इसके बाद शहर के तमाम 40 वार्डो में महापौर ने .निगम के सफाई हमले को वैश्विक महामारी के बड़ते खतरे को देखते हुए मैदान में उतार दिया। महापौर ममगाई ने बताया कि अनलॉक वन में कोरोना के मामले लगातार तेजी से बढ़ रहे हैं जिसको लेकर शहर वासियों को बेहद सतर्क होने की आवश्यकता है। उन्होंने बताया कि ऋषिकेश की बड़ी सब्जी मंडी में कोरोना की दस्तक के बाद निगम द्वारा उसे सैनिटाइज कराया गया था ।आज आईडीपीएल के हाट बाजार में स्थापित हुई अस्थाई बड़ी सब्जी मंडी के संपूर्ण स्थल को भी सैनेटाइज कराया गया है ।इसके अलावा शहर के तमाम 40 वार्डो को सैनेटाइज कराने के निर्देश भी दिए गए हैं। निगम आयुक्त नरेंद्र सिंह क्वीरियाल ने जानकारी दी कि आज शहर के हरिद्वार रोड़,रेलवे रोड़ अंबेडकर चौक सहित अनेकों महत्वपूर्ण स्थलों को सैनेटाइज कराया गया।महापौर के आदेशानुसार ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के वार्डो में भी स्वच्छता अमले को लगाया गया है।इस दौरान सहायक नगर आयुक्त विनोद लाल,सहायक अभियंता आनंद सिंह मिश्रवाण सहित सभी पांचों सैनेट्री इंस्पेक्टर भी मोजूद रहे।
