एनएसयूआई कार्यकर्ताओं में महंगाई और पेट्रोल डीजल के दामों में हो रही बढ़ोतरी को लेकर इतना गुस्सा है कि उन्होंने हल्द्वानी के कामलुवागंजा क्षेत्र में पेट्रोल डीजल वृद्धि के विरोध में मोटरसाइकिल ही फूंक डाली। केंद्र सरकार के खिलाफ नारेबाजी करते हुए एनएसयूआई कार्यकर्ताओं ने डीजल पेट्रोल के दामों में लगातार हो रही बेतहाशा वृद्धि पर रोक लगाने की मांग की है, मोटरसाइकिल जलाकर विरोध प्रदर्शन करने वाले एनएसयुआई जिलाध्यक्ष विशाल भोजक का कहना है कि लॉकडाउन के चलते आम जनता की आर्थिक स्थिति पहले से ही खराब है ऐसे में सरकार ने पेट्रोल और डीजल के दाम बढ़ाकर लोगों का जीना बेहाल कर दिया है ऐसे में उन्होंने मोटरसाइकिल जलाकर यह विरोध प्रदर्शन किया है उन्होंने सरकार से जल्द ही बढ़े हुए दाम वापस लेने की मांग की।
