रुड़की – सात साल पहले जिसने सात जन्मों के सपने संजोए थे जिसके साथ सात फेरे लेकर अपना घर छोड़ उसके घर में आकर उसकी संजीवनी बनी थी जिसके लिए घरवालों से बगावत तक की, उसी प्यार ने विवाहिता वंदना को आत्महत्या करने पर मजबूर कर दिया। वंदना यूपी के सहारनपुर जिले के मिर्ज़ापुर थाना क्षेत्र के नौगावा माजरी गांव की रहने वाली थी। वंदना की मुलाकात लगभग आठ साल पहले भगवानपुर थाना क्षेत्र के खुब्बनपुर निवासी मनोज से हुई थी। जिसके बाद मुलाकात प्यार में बदल गई और दोनों ने सात जन्मों के बंधन में बंधने का फैसला कर लिया। वंदना ने अपने प्यार के लिए घरवालों से बगावत कर मनोज से 2013 में शादी कर ली थी। जिसके बाद दोनों खुब्बनपुर गांव में रहने लगे थे। वंदना के घरवालों के मुताबिक मनोज शराब पीकर वंदना के साथ रोजाना मार पीट करता था और उसके घरवालों से पैसों की मांग करता था। कई बार वंदना के घरवालों ने उसको पैसे भी दिए लेकिन मनोज की पैसों की मांग और वंदना पर अत्याचार बढ़ता ही चला गया। सूत्रों के मुताबिक पैसे मांगने का मामला पुलिस तक भी पहुंचा था यदि पुलिस इस मामले में ठीक से संज्ञान लेती तो शायद वंदना की जान आज बच गई होती, लेकिन खाकी के दबाव में दोनों पक्षों को समझाकर घर भेज दिया गया था। मनोज फिर भी अपनी हरकत से बाज़ नहीं आया और उसके साथ रोजाना नई नई मांग करता रहा और एक दिन हालात ये हो गए कि वंदना को आत्महत्या करनी पड़ गई। हैरान कर देने वाली बात ये है कि घर में वंदना एक नहीं दो नहीं पूरे चार दिन फांसी के फंदे पर लटकी रही और मनोज के घरवालों ने किसी को इसकी भनक तक नहीं लगने दी। पीड़ित परिवार के मुताबिक़ मनोज रोजाना शराब पीकर आता और पास वाले कमरे में लेट जाता। चार दिन बाद जब कमरे से बदबू आने लगी तो पड़ोसियों ने इसकी सूचना पुलिस को दी। पुलिस ने महिला के परिजनों को बुलाकर उनकी मौजूदगी में दरवाज़ा तोड़ा तो अंदर का हाल देखकर सभी का बुरा हाल हो गया। वंदना की लाश बुरी तरह से सडी हुई फंदे पर लटकी हुई थी। पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया। इस मामले में भगवानपुर थाना अध्यक्ष संजीव थपलियाल ने बताया कि मामले की गहनता से जांच की जाएगी मृतक महिला के परिजनों की तरफ से तहरीर मिलने पर उचित कार्यवाही की जाएगी।
