कोरोना संक्रमण से बचाव के लिए तीन दिवसीय योग शिविर का हुआ आयोजन, क्षेत्रवासी बढ़-चढ़कर ले रहे भाग
श्रीनगर: कोरोना संक्रमण से बचाव को लेकर नगर क्षेत्र में तीन दिवसीय योग शिविर का शुभारंभ हुआ। इसमें नगर क्षेत्र की जनता ने बढ़-चढ़कर कर प्रतिभाग किया। सर्राफ धर्मशाला में आयोजित इस वृहद योग शिविर का उद्घाटन नगर पालिका अध्यक्ष पूनम तिवारी ने दीप जलाकर किया। पालिका अध्यक्ष पूनम तिवारी ने कहा कि योग हमारे शरीर के लिए अत्यंत लाभकारी है। इसके लिए हमें इसे अपनी दिनचर्या में लाना होगा। गढ़वाल विवि के योग प्रशिक्षक डॉ. घनश्याम ठाकुर ने कोरोना काल में रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता बढ़ाने वाले आसन व प्राणायाम की जानकारी दी। इस दौरान उन्होंने योग की विभिन्न मुद्राओं से होने वालों लाभ के बारे में विस्तार पूर्वक जानकारी दी। स्टार क्लब श्रीनगर की ओर से योग शिविर का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। कार्यक्रम में योग विभाग की विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ. अनुजा रावत व योग विभाग की डॉ. किरण वर्मा ने लोगों को योगासन करवाए. पहले दिन 55 से अधिक लोगों ने योग शिविर में प्रतिभाग किया. कार्यक्रम में सोशल डिस्टेंस और थर्मल स्क्रीनिंग का भी ध्यान रखा गया। कार्यक्रम में क्लब के वरिष्ठ सदस्य वेदव्रत शर्मा ने सभी का आभार व्यक्त किया और वरिष्ठ सदस्य धनेश उनियाल द्वारा मंच का संचालन किया गया।
