रुड़की: शहर के एक इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज में दो विदेशी छात्रों की पिटाई का मामला अब तूल पकड़ने लगा है। घायल छात्रों के पक्ष में एनएसयूआई और भीम आर्मी ने सड़कों पर उतरकर विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। ऐसे में प्रदर्शनकारियों ने कॉलेज मैनेजमेंट के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की मांग की है। घायल विदेशी छात्रों को अभी निजी अस्पताल में इलाज चल रहा है। पुलिस ने इस मामले में अभीतक आधा दर्जन से अधिक लोगों को गिरफ्तार कर चुकी है। प्राप्ता जानकारी के मुताबिक, भगवानपुर थाना क्षेत्र के पुहाना में स्थित रुड़की इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी में बीते बुधवार को दर्जनभर सुरक्षागार्डों दो विदेशी छात्रों से मारपीट की थी। जिसकी वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हो रही है। विदेशी छात्र गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए थे, जिनका शहर के निजी अस्पताल में इलाज च। इस मामले में पुलिस ने आधा दर्जन से ज्यादा लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है। दूसरी तरफ एनएसयूआई और भीम आर्मी के कार्यकताओं ने सड़कों पर उतकर कॉलेज मैनेजमेंट के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की मांग की. एनएसयूआई के जिलाध्यक्ष सचिन चौधरी ने कहा कि इस मामले की निष्पक्ष जांच होनी चाहिएं। विदेशी छात्रों के साथ इस तरह की घटना निंदनीय है आरोपियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की जाए।
