उत्तराखंड सरकार ने कोरोना की रोकथाम के मद्देनजर जांचों का दायरा बढ़ाने के लिए प्राईवेट लैब में Covid-19 की जांच के लिए अधिकतम दरें निर्धारित कर दी हैं। अब प्राईवेट लैब में सरकारी और निजी अस्पतालों की ओर से भेजे गए कोरोना सैम्पलों पर 2000 रुपए और स्वयं लिए गए सैम्पल की जांच के लिए 2400 से ज्यादा चार्ज नहीं कर सकेंगी। सचिव स्वास्थ्य अमित नेगी ने इसके आदेश जारी किए है। अभी तक राज्य में सरकारी और निजी लैब में कोरोना जांच के लिए 4500 रुपये प्रति सैम्पल की दर निर्धारित थी। सरकारी अस्पतालों में ये जांच निशुल्क थी, जबकि निजी लैब में मरीज को ही जांच का खर्च उठाना पड़ता है। वहीं मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेंद्र सिंह रावत ने इस बाबत कहा कि शुल्क कम होने से राज्य में टेस्टिंग की क्षमता बढ़ने के साथ ही बैकलॉग में कमी आएगी
