राज्य के अनेक जनपदों उत्तरकाशी पौड़ी की सड़कों, राजधानी देहरादून की सड़कों के विषय में तथा एनएच में प्रेमनगर में पुश्ता ढहने से हुए नुकसान के प्रभावितों को मुआवजा देने के संबंध में प्रदेश कांग्रेस के उपाध्यक्ष सूर्यकांत धस्माना के नेतृत्व में प्रतिनिधिमंडल एनएच के मुख्य अभियंता व पीडब्ल्यूडी के विभागाध्यक्ष श्री हरि ओम शर्मा से मिला। गढ़वाल के उत्तरकाशी की बड़कोट से यमुनोत्री तक की सड़क का खस्ता हाल, पुरोला की मियागड़ कुनारा मार्ग व कुनारा खरासा मार्ग के निर्माण, ऋषिकेश से देवप्रयाग तक आल वेदर रोड के काम में तेज़ी लाने, देहरादून हरिद्वार के बीच एनएच पर चल रहे कार्य की कछुवा गति को तेज करने, ऋषिकेश बद्रीनाथ मार्ग में चल रहे कार्य में तेज़ी लाने, राजधानी देहरादून के अधिकांश ध्वस्त पड़े राष्ट्रीय राज मार्गों राज्य राज मार्गों व आंतरिक मार्गों के बारे में वार्ता कर मांग पत्र प्रेषित किया। धस्माना ने मुख्य अभियंता से प्रेमनगर में राष्ट्रीय राज मार्ग पर चल रहे निर्माण कार्य के दौरान ठेकेदार की लापरवाही के कारण पुश्ता कटान में हुए लोगों के नुकसान के बारे में अवगत करवाते हुए प्रभावित लोगों के मुआवजे की मांग की। धस्माना ने प्रेमनगर के मुख्य बाजार की सड़कों व आंतरिक सड़कों के पुनर्निर्माण की मांग भी की। धस्माना ने कैंट विधानसभा क्षेत्र की गोविंदगढ़, इंजीनियरिंग एनक्लेव, साईं लोक, वसंतविहार से चाय बागान वाली सड़क के निर्माण की मांग भी की। मुख्य अभियंता हरी ओम शर्मा ने धस्माना को सभी विषयों पर शीघ्र कार्यवाही का आश्वासन देते हुए कहा कि बारिशों के बाद राष्ट्रीय राज मार्गों, राज्य राज मार्गों पर तेज़ी से काम होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रेमनगर में पुश्ता निर्माण में प्रभावित लोगों को मुआवजा शीघ्र दिया जाएगा व प्रेमनगर, गोविंदगढ़, साईं लोक समेत उल्लेखित सभी सड़कों का काम भी वर्षा खत्म होते ही शुरू किया जाएगा। प्रतिनिधिमंडल में कांग्रेस नेता सुमित खन्ना, ललित भद्री, अक्की कुरैशी, अनुज दत्त शर्मा आदि सम्मलित रहे।
