कोविड-19 महामारी के प्रभाव के कारण उत्तराखंड के मुख्यमंत्री सहित चार कैबिनेट मंत्री भी होम क्वारंटाइन हुए हैं। आज विधानसभा अध्यक्ष प्रेम चंद अग्रवाल जी ने होम क्वारंटाइन हुए मुख्यमंत्री सहित सभी कैबिनेट मंत्रियों से दूरभाष पर बातचीत कर उनका हालचाल जाना । कोविड-19 महामारी के कारण कोरोना वायरस के प्रभाव के कारण कोई भी व्यक्ति अछूता नहीं है । विगत दिनों उत्तराखंड की कैबिनेट बैठक में भी इसका प्रभाव देखने को मिला। परिणाम स्वरूप मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेंद्र सिंह रावत सहित कैबिनेट मंत्री सतपाल महाराज जी जो वर्तमान में एम्स ऋषिकेश में क्वांरटाइन है इसके साथ ही कैबिनेट मंत्री मदन कौशिक, कैबिनेट मंत्री हरक सिंह रावत एवं कैबिनेट मंत्री सुबोध उनियाल जी होम क्वारंटाइन हुए है विधानसभा अध्यक्ष ने दूरभाष पर उनके हालचाल जाने।
विधानसभा अध्यक्ष प्रेमचंद अग्रवाल ने मुख्यमंत्री सहित होम क्वारंटाइन हुए मुख्यमंत्री सहित तीनों कैबिनेट मंत्रियों एवं एम्स ऋषिकेश में क्वारंटाइन हुए कैबिनेट सतपाल महाराज से दूरभाष पर बातचीत की एवं उनके परिवार सहित स्वास्थ्य का हाल जाना। इस दौरान विधानसभा स्पीकर ने कहा है कि कोविड-19 का प्रभाव दिनों दिन बढ़ रहा है इससे सुरक्षित एवं सावधान रहने की आवश्यकता है । श्री अग्रवाल ने आम जनता से भी अपील करते हुए कहा है कि सामाजिक दूरी का पालन करना, मास्क लगाना यह हमारे जीवन का एक हिस्सा बन गया है । उन्होंने कहा है कि लॉकडाउन में भले ही ढील दी गई है , परंतु कोविड-19 का प्रभाव कम नहीं हुआ है इसलिए स्वयं की सावधानी करना अत्यंत आवश्यक है। तभी हम इस महामारी से निपट सकते हैं । प्रेमचंद अग्रवाल ने कहा कि ऐसे समय में कई मनगढ़ंत अफ़वाहें भी फैलाई जा रही है उन्होंने इस प्रकार की अफवाहों से बचने का सभी से अनुरोध भी किया है।श्री अग्रवाल ने कोरोना वायरस महामारी पर विजय प्राप्त करने के लिए प्रदेशवासियों से एकजुट होकर सरकार का सहयोग करने की अपेक्षा की है। उन्होंने कहा है कि कोरोना वायरस के प्रभाव के कारण जो समस्याएं उत्पन्न हुई है जल्द ही सब स्थितियॉ सामान्य हो जाएगी।
