कोटद्वार: जिले में अलग-अलग घटनाओं में दो युवतियों ने आत्महत्या का प्रयास किया है. बताया जा रहा है कि कोतवाली क्षेत्र में 19 साल की युवती ने प्रेम-प्रसंग में अपने हाथों की नस काट ली है. वहीं, दूसरी तरफ नंदपुर इलाके में 25 साल की युवती ने बीमारी से तंग आकर आत्महत्या का प्रयास किया है। कोटद्वार कोतवाली के काशीरामपुर तल्ला क्षेत्र की रहने वाली एक युवती का लालपानी निवासी युवक के साथ प्रेम-प्रसंग चल रहा था. लेकिन युवक के व्यवहार से परेशान युवती ने अपने हाथ की नस काटकर खुदकुशी का प्रयास किया है। दूसरी तरफ नंदपुर क्षेत्र में बीमारी से तंग आकर एक युवती ने खुदकुशी का प्रयास किया है। पुलिस का कहना है कि बीमारी को लेकर युवती और उसके घरवालों से कुछ अनबन हो गई थी। जिसके कारण उसने जहर खाकर खुदकुशी का प्रयास किया. फिलहाल दोनों युवतियों का राजकीय बेस चिकित्सालय कोटद्वार में इलाज किया जा रहा है
