वैश्विक महामारी कोरोना वायरस से जहां समाज का हर तपका परेशान था। वहीं काशतकार भी इस महामारी से बेहाल है। पिछले 15 दिनों में क्षेत्र में भारी ओलावृष्टि और बारिश से खेतों में पक रही गेंहू की फसल पूरी तरह बरबाद हो गयी है जिससे अब काश्तकारों की कमर ही टूट गयी है। काश्तकारों पर ये दोहरी मार से काश्तकार परेशान हो गये है। अब यह बरबाद फसल को ग्रामीण जानवरों को खिलाने को मजबूर है। काश्तकार सरकार से मुआवजे की आस लगाकर बैठे है कि कुछ तो मुआवजा मिले। काशतकारों का कहना है कि फसल ख़राब होने से हमारे आगे रोजी रोटी के संकट के साथ ही आर्थिक संकट भी खड़ा हो गया है।
