किच्छा में गोला नदी में डूब कर दो सगे भाइयों की मौत के मामले में पूर्व स्वास्थ्य मंत्री तिलकराज बेहड़ ने प्रदेश सरकार से पीड़ित परिवार को 20 लाख की आर्थिक मदद देने की मांग की है। मछली पकड़ने के दौरान हुई घटना में किच्छा के चीनी मिल कॉलोनी अनुज वर्मा तथा जय वर्मा की गोला नदी में डूब कर मौत हो गई थी। उत्तराखंड के पूर्व स्वास्थ्य मंत्री तिलक राज बेहड़ ने तमाम पदाधिकारियों के साथ पीड़ित परिवार के निवास पर पहुंचकर शोक संवेदना व्यक्त की और परिजनों को ढांढस बंधाया। पूर्व स्वास्थ्य मंत्री तिलकराज बेहड़ के साथ पहुंचे किच्छा के नगर पालिका चेयरमैन दर्शन कोली ने भी पीड़ितों को ढांढस बंधाते हुए हर संभव सहयोग का भरोसा दिलाया। घटना की सूचना पर पहुॅचे पूर्व स्वास्थ्य मंत्री तिलक राज बेहड़ ने परिवार को सांतवना देते ईश्वर से इस दुख की घड़ी में परिजनों को शक्ति प्रदान करने की प्रार्थना की । उत्तराखंड के पूर्व स्वास्थ्य मंत्री तिलकराज बेहड़ ने कहा कि दोनों युवकों की मौत से पीड़ित परिवार पर दुखों का पहाड़ टूट पड़ा है ऐसी स्थिति में प्रदेश सरकार को पीड़ित परिवार की मदद करते हुए 10-10 लाख रुपए की आर्थिक मदद करनी चाहिए।
