तो वंही स्थानीय क्षेत्र में उत्पादन होने वाले जूस व फलों के व्यवसाय को भी झटका लगा है।कोरोना वायरस से स्थानीय उत्पादन भी अछूता नहीं रहा जहां पर्यटन की दृष्टि से टिहरी के कानाताल क्षेत्र मैं कैंपिंग एवं एडवेंचर एक्टिविटीज करने वाले युवाओं को बेरोजगारी का डर सता रहा है तो वही दूसरी तरफ पर्यटकों के ना आने से भारी नुकसान की बात भी कही जा रही है जिससे कि उनको बैंक के लोन चुकाने के लिए दर-दर की ठोकरें खानी पड़ रही है। बात अगर स्थानीय उत्पादों की की जाए तो पहाड़ी फलों और फूलों से बने जूस जैम चटनी अचार को इस बार खरीदार नहीं मिल पा रहा है। जिस कारण इन उत्पादों से अपनी जीविका चलाने वाले लोग भी मायूस और परेशान हैं चंबा मसूरी फल पट्टी के आसपास के कई गांवों के लोग स्थानीय उत्पादों के सहारे अपनी आजीविका चलाते हैं लेकिन कोरोना महामारी के चलते उनके द्वारा निर्मित पहाड़ी उत्पाद की बिक्री ना होने से वह परेशान हैं उनका कहना है कि अगर पर्यटक यहां आते तो लगभग 5 से 8 लाख महीना उनकी बिक्री हो जाती लेकिन इस बार तो बहुत ही बुरे हाल हैं और ₹80000 देनदारी हो रखी है फायदा का तो वहां सोच भी नहीं सकते। क्षेत्र के कई परिवारों की जीवन रेखा भी इन्हीं उत्पादों पर सीमित थी। बात अगर एडवेंचर एक्टिविटीज की की जाए तो अजय रमोला बताते हैं कि पिछले साल उन्हें लगभग 6 लाख प्रतिवर्ष पर्यटक गतिविधि से मिला था जिससे कि उनके साथ काम करने वाले आठ स्थानीय युवा भी रोजगार प्राप्त करते थे लेकिन इस साल तो बैंक का लोन चुकाने तक के लाले पड़े हैं। धनोल्टी कानाताल और टिहरी झील विश्व के मानचित्र पर अपनी एक अलग ही छाप छोड़ चुके हैं और पर्यटकों के बेहद पसंदीदा जगहों में से एक है जहां प्रतिवर्ष लाखों पर्यटकों से यह घाटी गुलजार रहती थी वहीं इस साल सूना पड़ा हुआ है स्थानीय लोगों को डर सता रहा है। वायरस अगर लगतार बढ़ता है तो इसी तरह से अगर पर्यटक यहां नहीं आए तो उनका जीवन कैसे चल पाएगा क्योंकि वह पूर्णता ही पर्यटक गतिविधियों पर ही निर्भर है कोरोना की वैक्सीन कब तक आती है और कब तक इन पर्यटन क्षेत्रो में पर्यटक आते हैं यह तो वक्त के साथ बता पायेगा लेकिन रोजी रोटी का संकट जरूर गहरा गया है।
