प्रतापनगर: टिहरी के प्रतापनगर स्थित भेलुन्ता गांव में 14 जून को एक विवाहिता की संदिग्ध परिस्थितियों में मौत हो गई थी. मृतका के पिता ने लंबगांव थाने जाकर विवाहिता के ससुराली जनों के खिलाफ तहरीर दी थी. पुलिस ने मुकदमा दर्ज कर मृतका के पति, सास और ससुर को गिरफ्तार कर नई टिहरी न्यायालय में पेश किया गया.
दरअसल, प्रतापनगर के भेलुन्ता गांव में 14 जून को सविता देवी की मौत हो गई थी. 15 जून को शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेजा गया. 17 जून को मृतका के पिता अंबिका प्रसाद रतूड़ी ने मृतका के ससुराल वालों के खिलाफ लंबगांव थाने में तहरीर लिखाई थी, जिसके आधार पर पुलिस ने मृतका के पति राजीव जोशी, सास विमला देवी और ससुर दिलमणि जोशी के खिलाफ धारा 304 बी, 498 और दहेज अधिनियम के अंतर्गत मुकदमा दर्ज कर लिया. इसी कड़ी में पुलिस ने 20 जून को तीनों को गिरफ्तार करने के बाद नई अदालत में पेश किया. जहां से सभी को जेल भेज दिया गया। इस पूरे मामले की जांच कर रहे सीओ धन सिंह तोमर और एसओ विनोद राणा ने बताया कि मृतका के परिजनों ने ससुराल पक्ष के खिलाफ तहरीर दी थी, जिसके बाद सभी आरोपियों के खिलाफ विभिन्न धाराओं में मुकदमा दर्ज कर उन्हें गिरफ्तार किया गया था. वहीं, बीते रोज आरोपियों को न्यायालय के समक्ष पेश किया गया.
