मुख्यमंत्री श्री त्रिवेंद्र सिंह रावत ने मंगलवार को मुख्यमंत्री आवास में डॉ. श्यामा प्रसाद मुखर्जी के बलिदान दिवस पर उनके चित्र पर श्रद्धासुमन अर्पित किए। मुख्यमंत्री श्री त्रिवेंद्र ने कहा कि श्यामा प्रसाद मुखर्जी जी का पूरा जीवन राष्ट्र की एकता और अखंडता को समर्पित रहा। वे अपने सिद्धांतों से कभी पीछे नहीं हटे। राजनीति एवं शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में उनका अहम योगदान रहा। वे अखिल भारतीय जनसंघ के संस्थापक थे। डाॅ श्यामा प्रसाद मुखर्जी, अखंड एवं एक भारत के लिए कश्मीर को देश की मुख्यधारा में लाना चाहते थे। उन्होंने एक देश एक विधान पर हमेशा से बल दिया। धारा 370 को हटाने के लिए उन्होंने संघर्ष किया और अपने जीवन का बलिदान किया। प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी ने धारा 370 समाप्त कर उनके सपने को साकार किया।
