कोरोना महामारी में हुए लॉकडाउन पर्यावरण के लिए बना वरदान
कोरोना महामारी के चलते किया गया लाॅकडाउन इस बार पर्यावरण के लिये वरदान साबित हुआ है लाॅकडाउन के चलते रूकी मानवीय गतिविधियों का ही ये नतीजा रहा कि इस पूरे फायर सीजन में पौडी जनपद के गढवाल डिवीजन क्षेत्र में महज साढे चार हैक्टीयर वन क्षेत्र ही वनाग्नि की घटनाओं से प्रभावित हुआ जिससे लाखो की वनसम्पदा इस बार खाक होने से बच गई जबकि बीते साल के फायर सीजन मे वनाग्नि की घटनाओं ने गढवाल डिवीजन के पूरे वन क्षेत्र को अपनी चपेट में लेकर ऐसा तांडव मचाया था कि 197.05 हैक्टीयर जगंल वनाग्नि की चपेट में आकर धूं धू कर जल रहा था और इसी वनाग्नि से लाखों की वनसम्पदा फायर सीजन में देखते ही देखते जलकर खाक हो गयी थी साल 2019 में सबसे अधिक वनाग्नि की घटनायें रिर्जव फारेस्ट में देखने को मिली थी जिसमें 182.55 हैक्टीयर जंगल वनाग्नि की भेट चढ़ गया था जबकि सीविल क्षेत्र में साढे 14 हैक्टीयर जंगल वनाग्नि से खाक हुआ जिससे 3 लाख 90 हजार के खर्च से लगाई गई वनसम्पदा वनाग्नि की भेट चढ गयी और इस दौरान वन विभाग को भी वनाग्नि की घटनाओं को रोकने के लिये कडी मसक्कत करनी पडी थी लेकिन इस साल लाॅकडाउन के परिणाम पर्यावरण के लिये सकारात्मक रहे जिससे वन विभाग ने भी चैन की सांस ली।
