प्रशासन ने किया नदियों का निरीक्षण, अनियमितता को लेकर नहीं कि कोई भी कार्रवाई
कोटद्वार: नदियों में नियमों के विरुद्ध चल रहे चैनेलाइजेशन के काम को लेकर प्रशासन ने निरीक्षण किया. निरीक्षण में खनन अधिकारी, राजस्व विभाग, सिंचाई व वन विभाग की टीमों ने खोह, सुखरौ और ग्वालगढ़ नदी का निरीक्षण किया. निरीक्षण के दौरान टीम को नदियों में भारी कमियां पाई गई. फिर भी निरीक्षण टीम ने कार्रवाई करने की बजाय मामले में लीपापोती करते हुए खानापूर्ति की। तहसील क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत खोह नदी में चार पट्टे, सुखरौ नदी में एक, गवालगढ़ में एक और सिगडड़ी स्रोत नदी में एक पट्टे का आवंटन किया गया है। जो कि रिवर ट्रेनिंग नीति के तहत चैनेलाइज के कार्य के लिए आवंटित किये गये हैं. मगर प्रशासन की लापरवाही के कारण यहां नियमों को ताक पर रखकर खनन किया जा रहा है। प्रशासन की ओर से खनन करने वालों को डेढ़ मीटर गहराई तक चैनेलाइज करने के लिए अनुमति दी गई थी, लेकिन यहां 7 से 10 मीटर तक गहरे गड्ढे बना दिए गये हैं. खुद उपजिला अधिकारी योगेश मेहरा के नेतृत्व में आज 3 विभागों की टीम ने नदियों का निरीक्षण किया. जहां उन्होंने भी इस बात को स्वीकार किया कि वाकई में चैनलाइज का काम नियमों को ताक में रखकर किया जा रहा है. बावजूद इसके इन पर कोई कार्रवाई नहीं की गई. जो पूरे क्षेत्र में चर्चा का विषय बनी है।
उपजिलाधिकारी योगेश मेहरा ने बताया कि आज वन विभाग, राजस्व विभाग, सिंचाई विभाग, खनन विभाग के साथ एक जॉइंट इंस्पेक्शन किया गया. जिसमें नदियों का मूल्यांकन किया गया, इस दौरान नदियों में काफी कमियां पायी गयी।
