महानगर कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष लालचंद शर्मा ने नगर निगम से की हाउस टैक्स को 31 जुलाई तक छूट देने की मांग
महानगर कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष लालचन्द शर्मा के नेतृत्व में कांग्रेसजनों के एक प्रतिनिधिमण्डल ने नगर निगम आयुक्त से मुलाकात कर उन्हें ज्ञापन प्रेषित करते हुए महानगर की विभिन्न समस्याओं का निराकरण करवाये जाने का आग्रह किया। साथ ही नगर आयुक्त को सौंपे ज्ञापन में महागनर अध्यक्ष लालचन्द शर्मा ने कहा कि नगर निगम द्वारा बकायेदारों को हाउस टैक्स में 15 जुलाई तक टैक्स में 20 फीसदी की छूट दी जानी है। वर्तमान में महामारी की विभीषिका एवं लाॅक डाउन के चलते आम जनता टैक्स जमा नहीं करा पाई है अतः इस छूट को 31 जुलाई तक किया जाए। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि नगर निगम के स्तर से स्ट्रीट वेंडर को जो 10 हजार को लोन दिया जाना है। वो लोन शहर के सभी स्ट्रीट वेंडरों को दिया जाना चाहिए इस हेतु निगम को सर्वे कर सूची तैयार करनी चाहिए तथा बरसात के चलते मोहल्लों की सड़कों में बडे-बडे गड्ढे हो चुके हैं तथा मरम्मत का कार्य भी नही हो पाया है। अतः बरसात शुरू होने से पूर्व सड़कों के गड़्डे भरे जाएं। महानगर कांग्रेस के प्रतिनिधिमण्डल ने नगर निगम में जोडे गये नए वार्डों में एलईडी स्ट्रीट लाइट लगाने का काम जल्द शुरू करवाये जाने तथा आगामी बरसात को देखते हुए फॉगिंग का अभियान लगातार चलाया जाए तथा फागिंग हेतु बडी मशीनों की व्यवस्था करवाये जाने की मांग की।
नगर निगम आयुक्त ने प्रतिनिधिमण्डल को आश्वासन दिया कि उनके द्वारा उठाये गये बिन्दुओं पर शीघ्र उचित निर्णय लिया जायेगा।
प्रतिनिधिमण्डल में पार्षद एवं पूर्व नेता प्रतिपक्ष नगर निगम नीनू सहगल, राजेश परमार, रमेश कुमार मंगू, अर्जुन सोनकर, आनन्द त्यागी, नीरज नेगी, डाॅ0 विजेन्द्र पाल, मोहन गुरुंग, एतात खान, प्रकाश नेगी, दीप बोरा, नागेश रतूड़ी, नरेंद्र राणा, सिद्धार्थ वर्मा आदि शामिल थे।
