आषाढ़ के महिने में पहाड़ों में दिखती रौनक
प्रदेश में आषाढ़ के महिने में खेतों में अलग प्रकार की रौनक देखने को मिलती है। यह रौनक खेतों में लगाई जाने वाली धान की फसल रोपाई में होती है। रोपाई लगाने के खेतों को पानी से पूरी तरह से भर दिया जाता है। खेत की मिट्टी मुलायम होने पर बैलों के माध्यम से खेतों की जुताई कर खेत का तैयार किया जाता है। धान के पौधों को नमी वाले स्थान पर उगाया जाते है। बाद में रोपाई के लिए तैयार खेतों में धान के इन पौधों को रोपा जाता है। रोपाई कार्य फसलों में सबसे मेहनत वाला कार्य होता है रोपाई से उगाई गई धान की फसल पौष्टिक होने के साथ केे स्वास्थ्य के लिए भी लाभदायक होती है। रोपाई लगाने के कई सदियों से गांव में एक परिवार दूसरे परिवार की रोपाई लगाने के लिए मदद करता है। इसमें बच्चों से लेकर महिलाये और बुजुर्ग सभी जुटे रहते है। रोपाई के दौरान खेतों अलग प्रकार का एक उत्सव की तरह देखने को भी मिलता है। रोपाई के दौरान कई स्थानों पर मनोरजन के लिए झोडा चांचरी और हुडकिया बोल भी गये जाते है जिससे रोपाई के दौरान मंनोरज भी हो सके है कार्य को लेकर थकान ना हो। आज भी क्षेत्र के पांखू,कांडे किरोली,उडियारी,डीडीहाट,नाचनी,मुनस्यारी,थल,गंगोलीहाट सहित के ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में बारिश होने के बाद रोपाई का कार्य बहुत तेजी से शुरू हो गया है।
