शहरी क्षेत्रों में जंगली जानवरों का आतंक जारी, हाथी के हमले से महिला की हुई मौत
हल्द्वानी: गौलापार के सीतापुर गांव में सोमवार सुबह हाथी ने एक महिला को कुचल कर मार दिया। ग्रमीणों की मौके पर पहुंची वन विभाग की टीम ने महिला के शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया है। बताया जा रहा है कि महिला सुबह मक्के के खेत में मक्का तोड़ने गई थी। इस दौरान हाथी ने महिला के ऊपर हमला कर दिया। हाथी के हमले के बाद ग्रामीणों में आक्रोश देखा जा रहा है।बताया जा रहा है कि गौलापार के सीतापुर गांव के पार्वती देवी (55) अपने खेत में मक्का तोड़ने गई थी।तभी खेत में हाथी मक्का खा रहा था. हाथी महिला को देखते ही उग्र हो गया और महिला को पटक-पटक कर मार दिया. वहीं, सूचना के बाद भारी संख्या में ग्रामीण इकट्ठा हो गए। जिसके बाद हाथी मौके से भाग खड़ा हुआ।ग्रामीण और शहरी क्षेत्र में हाथी सहित अन्य जंगली जानवरों का आतंक देखा जा रहा है। लेकिन वन विभाग द्वारा जंगली जानवरों पर लगाम लगाए जाने से लगातार वन्यजीव संघर्ष देखा जा रहा है. एक सप्ताह पूर्व जहां हाथी ने उसी इलाके में एक वन विभाग के बीट कर्मी को मौत के घाट उतार दिया था, तो वहीं, आज दूसरी घटना हुई है।
