यात्री ना होने के कारण परिवहन विभाग को हो रहा है रोजाना लाखों का घाटा
हल्द्वानी: उत्तराखंड सरकार ने अनलॉक-2.0 में कुछ शर्तों के साथ रोडवेज की बसों का संचालन शुरू कर दिया था। लेकिन सवारियां नहीं मिलने के कारण परिवहन निगम को रोजाना लाखों का घाटा उठाना पड़ रहा है। यात्रियों की कम संख्या की वजह से बस अपने डीजल का खर्चा भी नहींं निकाल पा रही हैं। क्षेत्रीय प्रबंधक परिवहन निगम यशपाल सिंह ने बताया कि बसों का संचालन शुरू हुए करीब 15 दिन हो चुके हैं। ऐसे में अब धीरे-धीरे यात्रियों की संख्या में इजाफा हो रहा है। शुरुआती दिनों में परिवहन निगम को यात्री नहीं मिलने के चलते काफी नुकसान उठाना पड़ा है। कुमाऊं मंडल के अलग-अलग परिवहन डिपो से रोजाना 70 से 75 बसों का संचालन किया जा रहा है। इसमें करीब तीन हजार के आसपास यात्री यात्रा कर रहे हैं। ऐसे में कुमाऊं मंडल से परिवहन विभाग को रोजाना करीब तीन करोड़ के आसपास के राजस्व की प्राप्ति हो रही है। रीजनल मैनेजर के मुताबिक वर्तमान में रोडवेज की बसों से 30 से 40 प्रतिशत यात्री यात्रा कर रहे हैं। यशपाल सिंह ने बताया कि परिवहन विभाग को सबसे ज्यादा फायदा लंबी दूरी और अन्य राज्यों से आने जाने वाले यात्रियों से होता है। लेकिन वर्तमान में बसों का संचालन केवल कुमाऊं मंडल में ही हो पा रहा है। उम्मीद जताई जा रही है कि आने वाले दिनों में यात्रियों की संख्या में इजाफा हो सकता है। यात्रियों की संख्या में इजाफा होने के दौरान बसों की संख्या बढ़ाई जाएगी।
