*पंडित नैन सिंह देश की धरोहर हैं : सतपाल महाराज*
देहरादून। उत्तराखण्ड के गौरव पंडित नैन सिंह रावत जी के स्मरण में पर्यटन मंत्री सतपाल महाराज के द्वारा उनके सरकारी आवास सुभाष रोड़ देहरादून में सोमवार को एक कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। सभी अतिथियों द्वारा दीप प्रज्ज्वलित कर कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ किया गया। पर्यटन मंत्री सतपाल महाराज ने पंडित नैन सिंह रावत को याद करते हुए कहा कि मैं बच्चपन में उनके बारे में पढ़ा करता था कि किस तरह से उन्होंने पिथौरागढ़ से काठमाण्डू, काठमाण्डू से लासा तक की पद यात्रा की थी। वे 33.5 इंच की रस्सी बांधकर पग नापते थे और दो हजार पग का एक मील नापते थे। उन्होंने कहा कि पंडित नैन सिंह रावत आज हमारे देश के लिए एक धरोहर है।
पंडित नैन सिंह रावत को विश्व मानचित्र पर तिब्बत को पहचान दिलाने के लिए भारत सरकार ने उनके जन्म के 139 साल बाद 27 जून 2004 को डाक टिकट जारी कर सम्मानित किया और उनकी 187वीं जयंती पर गूगल ने डूडल बनाकर सम्मानित किया है ऐसे महापुरूष को पूरे उत्तराखण्ड का शत्-शत् नमन है।
पर्यटन मंत्री सतपाल महाराज ने बताया कि हिमालय गौरव पंडित नैन सिंह रावत की 7वीं पीढ़ी वर्तमान में बेहद दयनीय स्थिति में है। पंडित जी की पीढ़ी के कविन्द्र सिंह पुत्र स्व0 श्री कुन्दर सिंह ग्राम व पोस्ट मदकोट विकास खण्ड मुनस्यारी, जनपद पिथौरागढ़ के द्वारा बहुउद्देशीय साधन सहकारी समिति लिमिटेड मदकोट विकास खण्ड मुनस्यारी से 95 हजार का लोन लिया गया था। परिवार की माली स्थिति ठीक न होने के कारण वे लोन की धनराशि बैंक को अदा नहीं कर पाये। सतपाल महाराज ने इस विषय की जानकारी को संज्ञान में लेते हुए अपनी संस्था मानव सेवा उत्थान समिति के द्वारा बैंक को उनके कर्ज की अदायगी के लिए पंडित नैन सिंह रावत की परपौत्र वधु कमला रावत को चैक भेंट किया। इससे परिवार को बड़ी राहत मिली है। उत्तराखण्ड पर्यटन पंडित नैन सिंह रावत जी के कार्याें के लिए उन्हें शत-शत नमन करता है। पर्यटन मंत्री ने कहा कि पंडित नैन सिंह रावत की स्टोरी को वे बाॅलीवुड में देंगे, जिससे उनके ऊपर एक खुबसूरत फिल्म भी बने। सतपाल महाराज ने बताया कि कमला रावत को संविदा पर नौकरी दी गयी है उन्होंने कहा कि मैं सरकार से आग्रह करूंगा की वे कमला रावत को स्थायी नौकरी दें। कार्यक्रम में श्री सतपाल महाराज व उनकी पत्नी अमृता रावत, ब्रिगेडियर विनोद पसबोला, रिटार्यड कमिश्नर एस0एस0 पांगती, प्रकाश थपलियाल, पंडित नैन सिंह रावत जी की परपौत्र वधु कमला रावत, अभिमन्यू कुमार, दिगम्बर नेगी, राजेन्द्र पंत, डा. कुंवर सिंह धर्मसत्तू आदि गणमान्य उपस्थित रहे।
