ऋषिकेश- चंदेश्वर नगर क्षेत्र में नाला ट्रेपिंग के कार्य में अवरोध उत्पन्न कर रहा है पेड़ वन विभाग की सहमति लेकर नगर निगम प्रशासन द्वारा हटवा दिया जायेगा। इससे पूर्व ही पर्यावरण संरक्षण का आदर्श उदाहरण प्रस्तुत करते हुए महापौर द्वारा मौके पर ही 10 पौधों का रोपण किया गया।
रविवार की दोपहर वार्ड संख्या 3 और 4 के बीच नाला ट्रेपिंग कार्य को धरातल पर लाने की कवायद निगम प्रशासन द्वारा पूर्ण कर ली गई है।इस महत्वपूर्ण योजना में अवरोध उत्पन्न कर रहे पेड़ को हटवाने की कारवाई पूर्ण कराने के बाद योजना को मूर्त रूप देने के लिए महापौर ने मौका मुआयना किया। इस अवसर पर महापौर ने कहा कि विकास कार्यों में बाधा ना आये और पर्यावरण भी सुरक्षित रहे इसके लिए निगम कटिबद्ध है। उन्होंने कहा कि पेड़ का छपान वन विभाग द्वारा किया जा चुका है जिस को हटाए जाने से पूर्व आज 10 पौधों का रोपण किया गया है । उन्होंने कहा कि वर्षों से यह नाला चंद्रेश्वर नगर वासियों के लिए जी का जंजाल बना हुआ है इसकी ट्रेपिंग को लेकर जल्द से जल्द कार्य पूर्ण हो सके इसके लिए तमाम अधिकारियों को आवश्यक दिशा निर्देश दिए गए हैं। इस दौरान उन्होंने क्षेत्र के शौचालय का भी निरीक्षण किया जिस की स्थिति को बदहाल पाते हुए तुरंत महापौर द्वारा अधिकारियों को उसकी जगह हाईटेक शौचालय बनाने के लिए निर्देश दे दिए गये। इस दौरान नगर निगम सहायक अभियंता आनंद मिश्रवाण, पार्षद शकुंतला शर्मा, पार्षद प्रियंका यादव ,सफाई निरीक्षक अभिषेक मल्होत्रा, सुजीत यादव, चंदू यादव, दिवाकर मिश्रा, संजय राजभर,विनोद मिश्रा, अरविंद राजभर,दीपक शाह,राजेश आदि मोजूद रहे।
