मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेंद्र सिंह रावत ने मंगलवार को वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंस के माध्यम से केन्द्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ. हर्षवर्धन से कोविड-19 के प्रभावी नियंत्रण के लिए राज्य सरकार द्वारा किए गए कार्यों के बारे में जानकारी दी। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य में स्थिति नियंत्रण में हैं। राज्य में कोविड पर नियंत्रण हेतु डॉक्टरों को प्रत्येक जिले में प्रशिक्षित किया गया है। 3 महीनों के लिए पर्याप्त मात्रा में दवा भी उपलब्ध है। उन्होंने स्वास्थ्य मंत्री से राज्य को और पीपीई किट, एन -95 मास्क एवं वेंटिलेटर उपलब्ध कराने का अनुरोध किया। उत्तराखंड में स्वास्थ्य विभाग के साथ ही पुलिस भी बहुत अच्छा कार्य कर रही है। बाहर से आने वाले सभी लोगों को क्वारांटाइन किया जा रहा है । प्रत्येक जनपद में सर्वे टीम एक्टिव हैं। राज्य में कोरोना पॉजिटिव की डबलिंग रेट को भी काफी नियंत्रित किया गया है। प्रदेश में डबलिंग रेट 45 दिन है। उत्तराखंड में पूरी टीम उत्साह एवं सतर्कता से कार्य कर रही है। राज्य में कोरोना के 68 पॉजिटिव केस थे जिसमें से 46 लोग स्वस्थ हो चुके हैं। केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ हर्षवर्धन ने कहा कि कोरोना पर प्रभावी नियंत्रण के लिए ओवरऑल उत्तराखंड की स्थिति काफी अच्छी है। देहरादून, हरिद्वार, उधमसिंह नगर एवं नैनीताल में और सतर्कता की आवश्यकता है। उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तराखंड को जल्द ही पीपी किट ,वेंटिलेटर, एन 95 मास्क एवं अन्य राहत सामग्री उपलब्ध कराई जाएगी । इस अवसर पर उन्होंने हरिद्वार की सीएमओ डॉ सरोज नैथानी से भी कोरोना के प्रभावी नियंत्रण के लिए किए गए प्रयासों एवं वर्तमान स्थिति की जानकारी ली। इस अवसर पर उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ धन सिंह रावत, स्वास्थ्य सचिव श्री नितेश झा, अपर सचिव डॉक्टर पंकज पांडेय, निदेशक एनएचएम श्री युगल किशोर पंत, डीजी स्वास्थ्य श्रीमती अमिता उप्रेती आदि उपस्थित थे।
