केंद्र में नरेंद्र मोदी नीत एनडीए सरकार के दूसरे कार्यकाल मोदी-2 के पहले वर्ष के कार्यकाल को घोर निराशाजनक बताते हुए आज भारतीय जनता पार्टी द्वारा इसे जश्न के रूप में डिजिटल रैलियां कर मनाने की घोर निंदा करते हुए इसे देश की जनता के साथ भद्दा मजाक करार दिया। कांग्रेस मुख्यालय राजीव भवन में पत्रकारों से बात करते हुए उत्तराखंड प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी के उपाध्यक्ष सूर्यकांत धस्माना ने कहा कि पूरा देश आज कोरोना का दंश झेल रहा है,करोङों श्रमिक मोदी सरकार की अदूरदर्शिता के कारण प्रदेशों से अपने प्रदेशों को पैदल अपने घरों की ओर सड़कों से नंगे पैर भूखे पेट चलने को मजबूर हुए , बड़ी संख्या में लोग सड़क दुर्घटनाओं में मारे गए कहीं रेल से कट कर मर गए कहीं भूख प्यास से तड़प कर मर गए , कोरोना थम नहीं रहा, केंद्र की सरकार ने पैकेज के नाम पर लोगों से फ्रॉड किया, देश में महंगाई अपने चरम पर है, कच्चे तेल की कीमतें दुनिया में अपने न्यूनतम स्तर पर हैं और भारत में तेल पर टैक्स अधिकतम पर है और पेट्रोल डीजल पर सरकार जनता की जेब लूट रही है, श्री धस्माना ने कहा कि महंगाई दर आज अधिकतम पर है और जीडीपी रसातल की ओर है,उन्होंने कहा कि बेरोजगारी दर का आलम यह है कि उसने पिछले पचास सालों के सारे रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिए।उन्होंने कहा कि कश्मीर से धारा 370 हटाये जाने को मोदी सरकार अपनी बड़ी उपलब्धि बताते हुए दावा कर रही थी कि कश्मीर में इसके कारण आतंकवाद समाप्त हो गया जबकि वास्तविकता ये है कि कश्मीर में आज आतंकवादी घटनाओं में हमारे बहादुर सैनिक रोजाना शहीद हो रहे हैं। श्री धस्माना ने कहा कि देश में किसान नौजवान श्रमिक सभी वर्ग परेशान हैं और कम से कम आज जब सारा विश्व व सारा देश कोरोना संक्रमण की चपेट में है और इसके कारण मौत का तांडव जारी है ऐसे में बजाय कोरोना से लड़ने के आज बीजेपी डिजिटल रैलियां कर अपनी उपलब्धि का झूठा ढिंढोरा पीट रही है। श्री धस्माना ने कहा कि कुल मिला कर मोदी- 2 का पहले साल का कार्यकाल पूरी तरह से फ्लॉप रहा।
