विश्व तंबाकू निषेध दिवस पर विधानसभा भवन में किया एक जागरूकता कार्यक्रम
विश्व तंबाकू निषेध दिवस पर विधानसभा भवन में एक जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस दौरान विधानसभा अध्यक्ष श्री प्रेमचंद अग्रवाल ने कोरोना वायरस महामारी से बचने के लिए शरीर की इम्युनिटी पावर को बढ़ाने एवं धूम्रपान को त्याग करने के संकल्प की अपील जनता से की है।
गौरतलब है कि विधानसभा में लगातार तीन वर्षों से विश्व तंबाकू निषेध दिवस के अवसर पर संगोष्ठी का आयोजन किया जाता रहा है जिस दौरान विशेषज्ञ डॉक्टरों एवं धूम्रपान से ग्रसित मरीजों के अनुभवों को कार्यक्रम के माध्यम से साझा किया जाता रहा है।वर्तमान में कोरोना महामारी के चलते कार्यक्रम को संक्षिप्त रूप देकर शारीरिक दूरी बनाए रखकर विधानसभा परिसर में तंबाकू निषेध दिवस पर कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया।
इस अवसर पर विधानसभा अध्यक्ष ने कहा कि कुछ सालों में भारत के साथ ही पूरे विश्व भर में धूम्रपान करने और उससे पीड़ित लोगों की संख्या में लगातार इजाफा हुआ है। इस गंभीर लत ने कई लोगों को मौत का ग्रास तक बना दिया।उन्होंने कहा कि नशा और नाश शब्द में ज्यादा फर्क नही है नशा नाश का कारण बनता है।एक तरफ जहा व्यक्ति खुद को नशे के चलते बर्बाद तो करता ही है और नशे के कारण उसके साथ के रहने वाले परिवार तथा आसपास के लोग भी बहुत अधिक प्रभावित होते है। विशेषज्ञ डॉक्टरों का मानना है कि अधिक शराब का सेवन शरीर का इम्यून सिस्टम कमजोर कर देता है। ऐसे में शराब का नशा करने वाले व्यक्ति में कोरोना संक्रमण का खतरा भी बढ़ सकता है। उन्होंने कहा कि शराब, सिगरेट, गुटके से परहेज करते हुए पौष्टिक आहार और फल खाने से ही शरीर के इम्यून सिस्टम को मजबूत बनाया जा सकता है।श्री श्री अग्रवाल ने इस दौरान सभी से कोविड-19 से बचने के लिए जारी किए गए दिशा निर्देशों का पालन करने की बात कही। विशेषज्ञ के तौर पर वरिष्ठ चिकित्सा अधिकारी डॉक्टर सतीश डोभाल ने धूम्रपान एवं मदिरा सेवन से होने वाले नुकसान के बारे में जानकारी दी। उन्होंने कहा कि धूम्रपान करने वाले लोगों को कोरोना होने की ज्यादा संभावना होती है।सिगरेट का धुआं ज्यादा रिसेप्टर प्रोटीन बनाने के लिए फेफड़ों को फैलाता है और इसी प्रोटीन का इस्तेमाल करके वायरस मानव के कोशिकाओं में प्रवेश कर जाता है।
इस अवसर पर विधानसभा के सचिव जगदीश चंद, संयुक्त सचिव मदन कुंजवाल, उप सचिव मुकेश सिंघल, वरिष्ठ निजी सचिव अजय अग्रवाल, सुरक्षा अधिकारी प्रदीप गुणवंत, अनु सचिव हेम पंत, हेम गुरानी, प्रवीण जोशी, राजीव बहुगुणा, मुकेश हटवाल, हिमांशु त्रिपाठी सहित अन्य अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारी गण मौजूद थे।
