बेरोजगारी की समस्या को दूर करने के लिए कुमाऊं विश्वविद्यालय की नई पहल
देश में तेजी से बढ़ रही बेरोजगारी की समस्या को दूर करने के लिए अब कुमाऊं विश्वविद्यालय एक नई पहल शुरू करने जा रहा है. कुमाऊं विश्वविद्यालय के द्वारा नैनीताल के भीमताल कैंपस में बेरोजगार युवाओं के लिए विभिन्न प्रकार के शॉर्ट टर्म कोर्स शुरू किए जा रहे हैं. इसमें इन छात्रों को मैकेनिकल, इलेक्ट्रिकल, कारपेंटर, प्लंबिंग समेत धर्माचार्य के कोर्स करवाए जाएंगे. ताकि छात्र घर बैठे रोजगार कर सकेंगे, कुलपति प्रोफेसर एनके जोशी का कहना है पहले से बेरोजगारी की मार झेल रहे देश पर कोरोना संक्रमण की मार पड़ी है. ऐसे में युवाओं को और अधिक बेरोजगारी की मार झेलनी पड़ेगी. इसी को देखते हुए उनके द्वारा यह फैसला किया गया है.वहीं, कुलपति प्रोफेसर एन के जोशी का कहना है कि लोग आज आधुनिकता की तरफ बढ़ रहे हैं. ऐसे में लोग अपने धर्म, संस्कृति, को भूल रहे हैं. इसीलिए कुमाऊं विश्वविद्यालय के द्वारा सभी धर्म के छात्रों को अपने- अपने धर्म और संस्कृति, परंपरा और वेदों का ज्ञान भी दिया जाएगा. ताकि छात्रों को अपने धर्म और संस्कृति का ज्ञान हो सके, और सभी छात्र अपने धर्म के आधार पर शादी, नामकरण व अन्य कर्मकांड कर रोजगार प्राप्त कर सकते हैं।
