लक्सर में लॉक डाउन में सरकार की छूट देते हैं। हर तरह के माफिया सक्रिय हो गए हैं।खनन माफिया हो या फिर लकड़ी माफिया लक्सर में हरे पेड़ों को धड़ल्ले से काटने का कार्य माफि याओं द्वारा शुरू कर दिया गया है।ऐसी ही एक घटना को लक्सर के सेठपुर गांव में शीशम के पेड़ को काटकर अंजाम दिया गया वन विभाग कार्यालय से मात्र 3 किलोमीटर दूर सेठपुर गांव में लकड़ी माफियाओं ने शीशम की हरे पेड़ को काटकर वन विभाग की कार्यशैली पर सवालिया निशान लगा दिया। वन विभाग के अफसरों की नाक के नीचे लकड़ी माफियाओं ने शीशम के हरे पेड़ को काटने की घटना को अंजाम दिया और वन विभाग गहरी नींद में सोता रहा जब हमने इस मामले में लक्सर के वन रेंज अधिकारी गौरव अग्रवाल से बात की उन्होंने पहले तो मामले से अनभिज्ञता जताई।लेकिन बाद में कहने लगे कि मामले की जांच कराई जाएगी।जांच रिपोर्ट आने के बाद मामले में यथा उचित कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
