पहाड़ों में लगातार जंगली जानवरों का आबादी वाले क्षेत्रों में आने का सिलसिला जारी है। वहीं जंगल में लकड़ी बीनने गए नेपाली मूल के व्यक्ति को भालू ने हमला कर गंभीर रूप से घायल कर दिया। पीएचसी नारायणबगड़ में प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद उसे हायर सेंटर रेफर कर दिया गया। ग्राम पंचायत बैथरा (कडाकोट) के चौगुलू तोक में नेपाली मूल का खडगबहादुर (65) पुत्र गंगासिंह सब्जी का उत्पादन कर अपनी आजीविका चलाता है। वह पास के ही जंगल जाखलपाणी में जलावनी लकड़ी लेने के लिए गया था।इस दौरान अचानक भालू ने उस पर हमला कर दिया। चिल्लाने की आवाज़ सुनकर वहीं कुछ दूरी पर काफल बीन रही महिलाओं ने शोर मचाया, जिससे भालू भाग गया।
