नैनीताल हाईकोर्ट ने काशीपुर के जसपुर खुर्द ग्रामसभा नाले के ऊपर किए गए अतिक्रमण और साफ-सफाई को लेकर को लेकर दायर जनहित याचिका पर सुनवाई करते हुए कोर्ट नगर निगम काशीपुर से 3 सप्ताह के भीतर जवाब दाखिल करने के आदेश दिए हैं मामले की सुनवाई के लिए कोर्ट ने 3 सप्ताह के बाद की तिथि नियत की है । आपको बता दें कि काशीपुर निवासी विरेंद्र कंडारी ने जनहित याचिका दायर कर कहा है कि काशीपुर के जसपुर खुर्द गांव में कई परिवार निवास करते हैं गाव की पानी के निकासी के लिए ग्राम सभा मे 2 मीटर चौड़ा नाला बनाया गया था जिसके ऊपर लोगों ने अतिक्रमण कर लिया है। जिस कारण नाले की चौड़ाई घटकर कुछ मीटर ही रह गई है। जिससे नाले का बहाव अवरुद्ध हो गया है और उसमें कूड़ा गंदगी भरी रहती है नगरपालिका द्वारा ना तो अतिक्रमण हटाया जा रहा है और न ही नाले की सफाई की जा रही है। बरसात में गांव महामारी फैलने का खतरा बना हुआ है याचिकाकर्ता ने मांग की है कि नाले में अतिक्रमण हटाकर नाले की साफ सफाई की जाए ताकि गांव में बरसात में होने वाली बीमारियों से बचाया जा सके।
