शराब दुकान खुलने को लेकर महिलाओं ने किया उग्र प्रदर्शन,
कोटद्वार:नगर निगम के वॉर्ड नंबर तीन स्थित स्नेह क्षेत्र में प्रशासन की ओर से कुछ दिनों पहले सरकारी अंग्रेजी शराब की दुकान खोली गई थी. जिसके बाद से ही महिलाओं ने शराब की दुकान को स्थानांतरित करने के लिए धरना प्रदर्शन शुरू किया, जो कि अभी भी बदस्तूर जारी है. वहीं, प्रदर्शनकारी महिलाओं के हटाने के लिए घटना स्थल पहुंची पुलिस ने 35 से 40 महिलाओं पर सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग का पालन न करने पर मुकदमा दर्ज किया है। कोटद्वार के स्नेह नगर क्षेत्र में प्रशासन की ओर से अंग्रेजी शराब की दुकान खोली गई है, जिसका विरोध स्थानीय महिलाएं पहले दिन से लगातार कर रही हैं. सूचना पाकर मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस टीम ने जबरन महिलाओं को शराब की दुकान के आगे से हटाने का प्रयास किया, लेकिन प्रदर्शनकारी महिलाएं नहीं मानी और धरने पर डटी रही. ऐसे में पुलिस को पीछे हटना पड़ा। वहीं, प्रदर्शनकारी अंजू पुंडीर का कहना है कि जब तक शराब की दुकान यहां से नहीं हटेगी, तब तक सभी महिलाओं का धरना प्रदर्शन ऐसे ही लगातार जारी रहेगा. उन्होंने बताया कि शुक्रवार को महिलाओं का एक प्रतिनिधिमंडल, जिलाधिकारी से मुलाकात करने भी जाएगा. महिलाओं का कहना है कि बिजनौर के कई गांव के लोग शराब लेने यहां आने लगे हैं, जिसके कारण कोरोना संक्रमण के फैलने का खतरा बढ़ गया है. वहीं, प्रदर्शनकारी महिलाओं ने जिला प्रशासन से मांग की है कि शराब की दुकान को कहीं और स्थानांतरित किया जाए
