मुख्यमंत्री श्री त्रिवेंद्र सिंह रावत ने शनिवार को मुख्यमंत्री आवास में आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण की बैठक ली। मुख्यमंत्री ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि आपदा प्रबंधन की दृष्टिगत युवाओं को प्रशिक्षण दिया जाय। ग्राम सभा में भी समय-समय पर लोगों को प्रशिक्षित किया जाए । स्कूलों में आपदा प्रबंधन से संबंधित सप्ताह में एक क्लास की व्यवस्था हो। उत्तराखंड की भौगोलिक परिस्थितियों के दृष्टिगत लोगों को आपदा प्रबंधन के लिए जागरूक करना जरूरी है । आगजनी घटनाओं एवं वर्षाकाल के लिए लोगों को प्रशिक्षित करना जरूरी है। आपदा की चुनौतियों का सामना करने के लिए समय-समय पर मॉक ड्रिल भी कराई जाए।
