दिल्ली से कोटद्वार लौटे रहे प्रवासी की टैक्सी में ही मौत, करोना जांच के लिए भेजा सैंपल
कोटद्वार: बुधवार को दिल्ली से कोटद्वार लौटे प्रवासी की टैक्सी में ही मौत हो गई. आनन-फानन में टैक्सी चालक ने प्रवासी को बेस चिकित्सालय पहुंचाया. जहां पर डॉक्टरों ने प्रशासन की टीम को बुलाकर शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए मोर्चरी भेजा.
प्रभारी तहसीलदार विकास अवस्थी ने बताया कि प्रवासी कोटद्वार के धूरा-धनी पोस्ट ऑफिस नाथुखाल का रहने वाला है, जिसकी उम्र 45 साल है. उन्होंने बताया कि यह व्यक्ति दिल्ली की कैलाश कॉलोनी के एक होटल में काम करता था। बुधवार सुबह वह टैक्सी बुक करवाकर अपने घर के लिये निकला था। 11 बजे जब टैक्सी कोटद्वार के कौड़िया चेक पोस्ट पर पहुंची तो पोस्ट पर तैनात सुरक्षाकर्मियों व स्वास्थ्यकर्मियों ने जांच के लिए प्रवासी को वाहन से उतरने को कहा, लेकिन स्वास्थ्य खराब होने के कारण वह टैक्सी से नहीं उतरा। जिसके बाद आनन-फानन में उसे राजकीय बेस चिकित्सालय कोटद्वार भेजा गया। जहां डॉक्टरों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया। प्रवासी की मौत के बाद स्थानीय प्रशासन में हड़कंप मचा हुआ है. वहीं अस्पताल पहुंची मृतक की पत्नी ने प्रशासन की टीम को बताया कि पति को दिल्ली से ही खांसी और बुखार की शिकायत थी. मौके पर पहुंची प्रशासन की टीम ने टैक्सी चालक के साथ ही मृतक का सैंपल कोरोना जांच के लिए भेज दिया है.
