कोटद्वार नगर निगम में मॉनसून में बढ़ा डेंगू का खतरा, निगम तैयारी में जुटा
कोटद्वार: बरसात का मौसम शुरू होते ही डेंगू का खतरा मंडराने लगा है। जिसको देखते हुए कोटद्वार नगर निगम ने पहले ही व्यवस्थाएं कर ली है। नगर निगम ने इसके लिए नगर स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी की नियुक्ति की है। जो मलिन बस्तियों का चिन्हित कर कैंप लगाएंगे। साथ ही डेंगू टेस्टिंग किट व संबंधित दवाइयां लोगों को वितरित करेंगे। नगर निगम में विगत कई वर्षों से नगर स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी का पद रिक्त चल रहा था, लेकिन नगर निगम ने नगर स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी की नियुक्ति कर दी है। नगर स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी डॉ. शैलेश बड़थ्वाल ने कहा कि एडीजी एजिप्टी नाम के मच्छर के काटने से डेंगू होता है। यह घर के अंदर ज्यादा पैदा होता है। इसके लिए हमने तीन बड़ी फॉगिंग मशीन खरीदी है, ताकि ज्यादा से ज्यादा क्षेत्र में फॉगिंग का काम हो सके। कुछ दवाइयों का छिड़काव भी किया जाएगा। जिससे कि मच्छर नगर क्षेत्र में पैदा न हो सके. वहीं, इसके साथ ही अलग-अलग तरीके से नगर वासियों को जागरूक किया जा रहा है। डेंगू से बचाव के लिए लोगों को जागरुक किया जा रहा है। लोगों का बताया जा रहा है कि घर पर कहीं भी पानी एकत्रित न होने दें। इसके साथ ही नगर क्षेत्र के दुकानदारों को भी चेतावनी दी जा रही कि वह दुकान और आसपास पानी जमा न होने दें। निगम की ओर से नगर वासियों को कुछ मछलियां भी उपलब्ध कराई जाएंगी। यह मछलियां मच्छरों के लार्वा को खा जाती है। जिससे मच्छर का लार्वा नहीं पनप पाता, साथ ही ये बायोलॉजिकल मेथड है और इससे कोई नुकसान भी नहीं होता है।
