डेंगू के डंग से बचाने के लिए मैदान में उतरी महापौर
ऋषिकेश-कोविड 19 के खतरों से शहरवासियों को सुरक्षित रखने के लिए अपनी तमाम ताकत झौकनें के बाद निगम प्रशासन ने अब डेंगू के डंक को प्रारंभ में ही पूरी तरह से दबा देने के लिए कमर कस ली है । मेयर अनिता ममगई के नेतृत्व में निगम अधिकारियों को पार्षदों के एक दल ने आज शहर के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में जलभराव जायजा लिया। इस दौरान मेयर ने आवश्यक कदम उठाए जाने के निर्देश अधिकारियों को दिए। उन्होंने स्पष्ट शब्दों में निगम अधिकारियों को चेताया कि दूसरों के घर को स्वच्छ रखने से पहले अपने आंगन को भी स्वच्छ करें। निगम प्रांगण में जलभराव व गंदगी से असंतुष्ट दिखी महापौर ने जल्द से जल्द इस पर कार्रवाई के निर्देश दिए। कहा कि वह इस मामले में किसी भी तरह की लापरवाही बर्दाश्त नहीं करेंगी। उन्होंने कहा कि शहर के तमाम गड्ढों पर पेचवर्क की कारवाई जल्द से जल्द पूर्ण की जाये। ताकि मानसूनी मौसम में जलभराव के चलते डेंगू के पनपने का खतरा उत्पन्न ना हो सके। उन्होंने शहर के ड्डैनेज सिस्टम को भी चाक करने के निर्देश दिए। इससे पूर्व महापौर ने निगम की महत्वकांक्षी घाट सफाई परियोजना को मिली मंजूरी के बाद अग्रिम कार्रवाई के लिए मुख्य नगर आयुक्त को निर्देशित किया।उन्होंने लाल पानी बीट स्थित ट्रेंचिंग ग्राउंड की टर्म्स आफ रेफरेंस के एपरूव हो जाने पर अधिकारियों की पीठ भी थपथपाई। साथ ही उन्होंने मेयर हेल्पलाइन मैं पथ प्रकाश संबंधित समस्याओं की समीक्षा की और बिजली विभाग द्वारा किए गए कार्य से संतोष जताया।इस दौरान सहायक नगर आयुक्त एलम दास, सहायक अभियंता आनंद मिश्रणन, जेई तरुण लखेड़ा,जेई भरत जोशी,स्टोर कीपर ज्योति उनियाल, पार्षद विजय बडोनी, पार्षद राकेश मिया,पार्षद राजेश दिवाकर, आदि मोजूद रहे।
