नैनीताल के घुघुखांन-सिगड़ी गांव की 20 वर्षीय महिला ने मायके में अज्ञात कारणों के चलते विषाक्त विषाक्त पदार्थ पीकर जान देने की कोशिश की जिसे परिजन आनन फानन में रात में बीडी पांडे हास्पिटल लेकर पहुचे जहां उपचार के दौरान उसकी मौत हो गई। सूचना पर मौके पर पहुची राजस्व पुलिस ने शव का पंचनामा भरकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया है। तहसीलदार भगवान सिंह चौहान का कहना है पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट के आधार पर आगे की कार्यवाही की जाएगी। वही मृतका के पिता का कहना है उनकी पुत्रीे को विवाह के बाद से ही ससुराल में उनकी पुत्री को प्रताड़ित कर जान से मारने के साथ ही घर से निकल जाने की धमकी देते थे। 2 माह पहले ही सुसराल वालो ने पूजा मायके भेज दिया था तभी से वह मायके में रह रही थी। पूजा के माता पिता रो रोकर इंसाफ की गुहार लगा रहे है।
