डर के साए में ग्रामीण अब तक कई गुलदार आबादी वाले क्षेत्र में घूमते आए नजर
नैनीताल के समीपवर्ती गांव में गुलदार की दहशत से ग्रामीणों सहमे हुए है। ग्रामीणों की माने तो गांव के आसपास एक दो नही बल्कि 4 गुलदार घूमते हुए देखे गए है। जो सुबह तड़के और शाम होते ही उनके घरों के आंगन में आ जाते है अब तक गुलदार 4 कुत्तों और 3 बकरियों को अपना निवाला बना चुका है। गुलदार की दहशत से ग्रामीण शाम होते ही घरों में दुबकने को मजबूर है। हालांकि वन विभाग ने ग्रामीणों की जानहिफाजद के लिए गुलदार को पकड़ने के अनुरोध के बाद यहां पिंजरा भी लगाने के साथ ही 3 कैमरा ट्रैप लगाए लेकिन गुलदार पिंजरे के अंदर रखी गई बकरी को मारकर बच निकला। चारखेत के अधिकांश लोग शाम ढलते ही अपने घरों में दुबक जाते है। जबकि छोटे बच्चों को 4 बजे के बाद ही घरों के अंदर कैद कर दिया जाता है। इसके अलावा खेतों में भी महिलाएं अकले जाने से बच रही है, जरुरी काम पड़ने पर वें झुंडो में ही खेतों में आ-जा रहे हैं।
