जान जोखिम में डालकर ग्रामीण इस पुल से कर रहे आवाजाही लेकिन जिम्मेदार प्रशासन को इस बदहाली की सूज तक नहीं
कोटद्वार: पौड़ी जिले के दुगड्डा ब्लॉक के कण्वाश्रम महाबगढ़ पैदल मार्ग पर बना लालपुल जर्जर स्थति में है। ग्रामीण जान जोखिम में डालकर इस पुल से आवाजाही करने को मजबूर हैं। लेकिन पौड़ी जिले के पंचायत अध्यक्ष को इस रास्ते की बदहाली की जानकारी नहीं है। ऐसे में यह पुल कभी भी हादसे को दावत दे सकता है। अंग्रेजी शासनकाल में मालन नदी पर कण्वाश्रम से 7 किलोमीटर दूर लालपुल का निर्माण 1903 में कराया गया था. रखरखाव के अभाव से इस पुल की हालत अब जर्जर हो चुकी है। विभागीय लापरवाही के कारण पुल की यह दुर्दशा हो गई है। पुल जर्जर होने के कारण लोग बल्ली लगाकर इस पर आवाजाही करने को मजबूर हैंै वहीं जिला पंचायत अध्यक्ष पौड़ी से बात की गई तो उन्होंने इस बात से खुद को अनजान बताया। स्थानीय निवासी विवेक शाह ने कहा की पहले से ही इस पैदल मार्ग की हालत बदहाल है। सरकार हर साल जिला पंचायत को इन रास्तों को बनाने के लिए धन की स्वीकृति भी करती है। लेकिन जिला पंचायत द्वारा इन रास्तों की मरम्मत का कार्य नहीं कराया जाता हैै। आज पुल की हालत यह है कि लोग बल्ली लगाकर पुल पर आवाजाही करने को मजबूर हैं। ग्रामीणों ने जल्द इस पुल को दुरुस्त करने की मांग की है।
