बिजनौर में अपराध और अपराधियों पर शिकंजा कसने के लिये पुलिस द्वारा लगातार अभियान चलाया जा रहा है।इसी अभियान के तहत पुलिस ने एक अवैध शस्त्र बना रही फैक्ट्री का भंडाफोड़ किया है।पुलिस ने इन फैक्ट्री में अवैध तमंचे बनाने वाले एक साथी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है।जबकि अन्य साथी फरार होने में कामयाब हो गए है।पुलिस ने अवैध बने तमंचे और अध बने तमंचे के साथ बनाने वाले उपकरण को भी अपने कब्जे में ले लिया है।एसपी सिटी लक्ष्मी निवास मिश्र ने अवैध असलहा फैक्ट्री चलाने वाले गिरोह का पर्दाफाश करते हुए बताया कि नांगल थाने की पुलिस ने चेकिंग अभियान के तहत नजीबाबाद रोड के एक बाग में बने एक खंडहर से अवैध शस्त्र बनाने वाले जसराम नाम के हिस्ट्रीशीटर आरोपी को गिरफ्तार किया है।जबकि अन्य आरोपी पुलिस को चकमा देकर फरार होने में कामयाब हो गए।मौके पर पहुँची पुलिस के ऊपर इन अपराधियो ने पुलिस पर फायरिंग भी की है।जवाबी कार्यवाही ने पुलिस ने भी इनपर कार्यवाही की है।पुलिस ने इनके पास से तमंचे बनाने वाला उपकरण , 2 तमंचा 15 बोर,3 अदद तमंचे,3 खोखे कारतूस और अवैध तमंचा बनाने वाले अन्य उपकरण बनाने के सामान भी बरामद किये है।
