तीन दिन बाद गृह निवास पहुंच शहीद का पार्थिव शरीर, श्रद्धाजंलि देने लिए उमड़ा लोगों का हुजुम
किच्छा निवासी शहीद देव बहादुर का पार्थिव शरीर सेना के वाहन से आज तीन दिन बाद ऊधमसिंहनगर पहुंचाया गया। शहीद देव बहादुर थापा का पार्थिव शरीर सुबह 07 बजकर 25 मिनट पर पहुंचा। एम्बुलेंस के पहुंचते ही लोगों का हुजूम उमड़ पड़ा। लगभग दो घंटे बाद एम्बुलेंस लालपुर पर रुकी रही। यहां से शहीद का पार्थिव शरीर उनके गांव गौरीकला पहुंचा, जिसके बाद प्राथमिक स्कूल में अंतिम दर्शन के लिए शहीद की पार्थिव देह रखी गई। इस दौरान लोगों ने भारत माता की जय और देव तुम अमर रहो के नारों के साथ शहीद वीर को श्रद्धांजलि दी। बता दें मंगलवार को दोपहर डेढ़ बजे लद्दाख से सेना का वायुयान शहीद का पार्थिव देह लेकर दिल्ली रवाना हो गया था। शहीद देव बहादुर की अंत्येष्टि कनकपुर और राघवनगर के मध्य बने श्मशान घाट पर होगी।
