मछली पकड़ने गए दो सगे भाईयों की गौला नदी में डूबने से मौत
उधम सिंह नगर के किच्छा में मछली पकड़ने गए दो सगे भाइयों की गोला नदी में डूबने से मौत हो गई। एक ही परिवार के दो युवकों की मौत होने से क्षेत्र में शोक की लहर दौड़ गई शोक व्यक्त करने वालों का मृतक के निवास पर तांता लग गया। नदी में डूब रहे भाई को बचाने के लिए नदी में कूदा मृतक का भाई भी मौत का शिकार हो गया। दो सगे भाइयों की मौत से परिजनों में कोहराम मच गया है। घटना के बाद पूरा परिवार सदमे में है। उधम सिंह नगर के किच्छा चीनी मिल कॉलोनी निवासी रामकिशोर वर्मा के 3 पुत्र हल्द्वानी मार्ग पर गोला नदी में मछली पकड़ने गए थे। इसी दौरान 26 वर्षीय अनुज वर्मा नदी किनारे शौच करने चला गया और नदी से पानी लेने के दौरान वह डूब गया। भाई को पानी में डूबता देख उसके 24 वर्षीय भाई जय वर्मा ने भी नदी में छलांग लगा दी । बताया जा रहा है कि दोनों भाइयों को तैरना नहीं आता था जिसके चलते दोनों भाई नदी में डूब गए । इसी बीच नदी किनारे मौके पर मौजूद 14 वर्षीय भाई वैभव वर्मा ने शोर मचाना शुरू कर दिया । घटना की सूचना पर परिजन सहित तमाम लोग मौके पर पहुंच गए । करीब डेढ़ घंटे की मशक्कत के बाद गोताखोरों ने दोनों भाई अनुज व जय के शवों को गोला नदी से खोज कर बाहर निकाला । घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही क्षेत्र में शोक की लहर दौड़ गई और शोक व्यक्त करने के लिए सैकड़ों लोगों का जमावड़ा उनके निवास पर लग गया। घटना की सूचना पर पहुंची पुलिस ने दोनों भाइयों के शवों को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेजते हुए घटना की जांच शुरू कर दी है । मृतक के पिता एक पैर से अपाहिज हैं और चीनी मिल में क्रेन ऑपरेटर के पद पर सीजनल कर्मचारी हैं । भाइयों की मौत के बाद उसकी दोनों बहनों सहित परिजनों का रो रोकर बुरा हाल है। कोतवाली प्रभारी उमेश कुमार मलिक ने बताया कि दोनों युवकों के शवों को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेजा गया है और पीएम रिपोर्ट मिलने के बाद आगे की कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
