कुमाऊं विश्वविद्यालय के नवनियुक्त-29वें कुलपति ने किया अपना कार्यभार ग्रहण
कुमाऊं विश्वविद्यालय के नवनियुक्त-29वें कुलपति प्रो. एनके जोशी ने विश्वविद्यालय में अपना कार्यभार ग्रहण कर लिया। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने कहा कि वे इसी संस्था से पढ़े हैं, इसलिये उनकी विशेष कोशिश रहेगी कि इस संस्था के उन्नयन के लिए अपना बेहतर योगदान दे सकें। उन्होंने विवि में ऑनलाइन कक्षाएं बेतहर तरीके से संचालित करने एवं परीक्षाओं की व्यवस्था को ठीक करने को अपनी प्राथमिकता बताया। कहा कि वह कम्प्यूटर विज्ञान के क्षेत्र हैं, इसलिये सूचना-प्रौद्योगिकी के बेहतर इस्तेमाल से विवि की व्यवस्थाएं बेहतर करने पर भी उनका जोर रहेगा। इस हेतु उन्होंने कुलसचिव डा. महेश कुमार को निर्देश भी दिये। उन्होंने कहा कि बेहतर शोध कार्यों व अनुसंधान के बल पर विवि को उच्च स्तर के विश्वविद्यालयों की सूची में शामिल कराने की भी कोशिश रहेगी। इस हेतु देश के बड़े संस्थानों से करार किये जाएंगे। कहा कि बेहतर शिक्षण के लिए छात्रों से शिक्षकों के बारे में ऑनलाइन गोपनीय फीडबैक भी ली जायेगी। साथ ही पूर्व छात्रों की एलुमिनी मीट के जरिए पूर्व छात्रों को जोड़ने की भी पहल की जाएगी। कहा कि शीघ्र विवि के सभी विभागों के अध्यक्षों एवं अन्य से बैठक कर विश्वविद्यालय की वर्तमान स्थितियों की समीक्षा करेंगे तथा आवश्यक प्रबंध करेंगे। उन्होंने मीडिया के साथ बेहतर समन्वय स्थापित करने तथा खासकर सभी विभागों की उपलब्धियां नियमित रूप से प्राप्त कर मीडिया को जानकारियां देने की बात भी कही।
