कोरोना संकट में पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए सरकार उठा रही है ये कदम
मुख्य सचिव श्री उत्पल कुमार सिंह ने सोमवार को सचिवालय स्थित सभागार में पर्यटन विभाग की समीक्षा की। मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि वैश्विक महामारी कोविड-19 के कारण राज्य का पर्यटन प्रभावित हुआ है।
मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि कोविड-19 के दृष्टिगत प्रदेश में लाॅक डाउन जारी है। लाॅक डाउन के उपरान्त राज्य में पर्यटन सम्बन्धी आर्थिक गतिविधियों को बल दिये जाने हेतु तैयारियां सुनिश्चित की जाएं। उन्होंने कहा कि इस समय प्रदेश में प्रवासियों की वापसी हो रही है। इनमें से बहुत से प्रदेश में ही रूकने का मन बना रहे हैं होंगे, ऐसे लोगों को प्रदेश में ही रूकने के लिए प्रोत्साहन देना होगा। उनको स्वरोजगार से जुड़ने हेतु विशेष योजनाएं तैयार करनी होंगी। उन्होंने कहा कि कोविड-19 के दृष्टिगत राज्य बेहतर स्थिति में है। प्रदेश में सुरक्षित पर्यटन को प्रोत्साहित किया जा सकता है। उन्होंने कहा कि शाॅर्ट टर्म और लाँग टर्म योजनाएं तैयार की जाएं। नयी और आकर्षक योजनाओं पर विचार किया जाए।
मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि लाॅक डाउन के चलते पर्यटन प्रभावित हुआ है। प्रदेश में पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने में होम स्टे योजना महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा सकती है। सुरक्षित पर्यटन की तर्ज पर एवं बेहतर कनेक्टिविटी सहित आधारभूत सुविधाएं प्रदान कर के होम स्टे योजना को मजबूती प्रदान की जानी चाहिए। इससे जहां एक ओर रोजगार उत्पन्न होगा वहीं दूसरी ओर पर्यटन को भी बढ़ावा मिलेगा। उन्होंने मेडिकल टूरिज्म और आयुष टूरिज्म को भी बढ़ावा देने की बात कही। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य में मेडिकल टूरिज्म और आयुष टूरिज्म की बहुत अधिक सम्भावनाएं हैं। आयुष के क्षेत्र में बहुत कुछ किया जा सकता है।
मुख्य सचिव ने पिथौरागढ़ के ट्यूलिप गार्डन की सफलता के लिए अधिकारियों को बधाई देते हुए कहा कि इस प्रकार की अन्य मौसमी प्रजातियों के लिए भी योजनाएं तैयार की जा सकती हैं।
इस अवसर पर सचिव श्री अमित नेगी, श्री दिलीप जावलकर एवं अपर सचिव पर्यटन सोनिका भी उपस्थित थीं।

पौड़ी पुलिस फरार चल रहे वारण्टियों को दूसरे प्रांतों से भी कर रही गिरफ्तार 
जनपद की कोटद्वार पुलिस ने वाहन चोरी के अभियुक्त को चोरी की स्कूटी सहित 24 घण्टे के अन्दर धर दबोचा 
सेलाकुई क्षेत्र में हुई चोरी की घटना का दून पुलिस ने किया खुलासा
