जल जीवन मिशन ’’हर घर नल से जल’’ कार्यक्रम के अन्तर्गत जिला जल एवं स्वच्छता मिशन की बैठक जिलाधिकारी स्वाति एस भदौरिया की अध्यक्षता में क्लेक्ट्रेट सभागार में संपन्न हुई। बैठक में जिला जल एवं स्वच्छता मिशन में अतिरिक्त सदस्यों को शीघ्र नामित करते हुए योजना के क्रियान्वयन में तेजी लाने के निर्देश दिए गए। जिले में 1077 राजस्व ग्रामों में लगभग 42377 घरों को इस कार्यक्रम के तहत जल संयोजन किए जाने का लक्ष्य है। जिसमें पेयजल निगम, जल संस्थान एवं स्वजल मिलकर कार्य करेंगे। जिलाधिकारी ने कहा कि भारत सरकार की जल जीवन मिशन योजना से हर घर को जल संयोजन से जोड़ा जाना है। संबंधित विभागों को एक मिशन मोड के तहत मार्च 2024 से पूर्व लक्ष्य की पूर्ति करनी है। कहा विभाग तेज गति से कार्य कर यथाशीघ्र जनता को इस कार्यक्रम के तहत लाभ पहुंचाए। उन्होंने निर्देश दिए कि राज्य जल एवं स्वच्छता मिशन द्वारा जारी स्वयं सेवी संस्थाओं (एनजीओ) की सूची में से जो संस्था जिले में कार्य करने के इच्छुक है उनकी कार्य क्षमता एवं दक्षता का मूल्यांकन किया जाए। इसके बाद ही स्वयं सेवी संस्था के अंतिम चयन हेतु प्रस्ताव जिला जल एवं स्वच्छता समिति की बैठक में प्रस्तुत किया जाए। जल जीवन मिशन के कार्यो में तेजी लाने हेतु जिलाधिकारी ने चयनित एनजीओ को ब्लाक आवंटित करने तथा ग्राम स्तर पर जल जीवन मिशन के कार्यो का प्रस्ताव शीघ्र तैयार कराने के निर्देश दिए। बैठक में जिला जल एवं स्वच्छता मिशन में पेयजल निगम, जल संस्थान, स्वजल, सिंचाई, कृषि, शिक्षा विभाग के अतिरिक्त अन्य सदस्यों को नामित करने पर भी चर्चा की गई।
