पौधा रोपण कर विधानसभा अध्यक्ष ने दिया पर्यावरण को बचाने का संदेश
देहरादून– विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के अवसर पर आज उत्तराखंड विधानसभा अध्यक्ष प्रेम चंद अग्रवाल ने विधानसभा भवन के प्रांगण में पौधे रोपित किए। वहीं प्रेम चंद अग्रवाल ने यमुना कॉलोनी स्थित अपने शासकीय आवास पर भी पौधे रोपित किये। प्रेम चंद अग्रवाल ने कहा कि विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को पृथ्वी और पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति सक्रिय भूमिका निभाने के लिए प्रेरित करता है।
इस अवसर पर विधानसभा अध्यक्ष ने कहा कि राज्य के प्रत्येक नागरिक को यह सुनिश्चित करना है कि राज्य के समृद्ध वन क्षेत्र और हमारी अनमोल वन्यजीवन विरासत संरक्षित एवं सुरक्षित रहे। उत्तराखण्ड की नदियां व झीलों को स्वच्छ बनाने में सभी नागरिक भागीदार बनें। विधानसभा अध्यक्ष ने पर्यावरण दिवस पर शुभकामनाएं देते हुए स्वयंसेवी संस्थाओं, पर्यावरण प्रेमियों, सामाजिक एवं धार्मिक संगठनों सहित सभी प्रदेशवासियों से पौधे लगाने, उन्हें सुरक्षित रखने तथा पर्यावरण को नुकसान पहुंचाने वाले पदार्थों के उपयोग को रोकने की दिशा में जनचेतना जाग्रत करने तथा सहयोग करने की अपील की है।
इस अवसर पर विधानसभा के सचिव जगदीश चंद, उप सचिव मुकेश सिंघल, वरिष्ठ निजी सचिव अजय अग्रवाल, व्यवस्था अधिकारी दीप चंद, प्रवीण जोशी, राजीव बहुगुणा, रवि बिष्ट, राकेश चंद सहित अन्य अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारी उपस्थित थे।
