कोविड19 के विश्वव्यापी प्रकोप के चलते हुए लाॅकडाउन के कारण अखिल भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान (एम्स ऋषिकेश) में बीते मार्च माह में स्थगित की गई ओपीडी सुविधा को जल्द शुरू करने की तैयारी है। इसके लिए एम्स प्रशासन सभी जरुरी तैयारियों को अंतिमरूप देने में जुट गया है। सबकुछ ठीकठाक रहा तो इसी माह अंतिम सप्ताह में एम्स अस्पताल में जनरल ओपीडी सेवाएं सुचारू हो जाएंगी।
गौरतलब है कि दुनियाभर में कोरोना वायरस के दुष्प्रभाव के चलते सार्वजनिक स्थानों पर भीड़भाड़ को कम करने के लिहाज से देशभर में बीती 24 मार्च को लाॅकडाउन व्यवस्था लागू कर दी गई थी, जिसके मद्देनजर एम्स ऋषिकेश में वाह्य रोगी विभाग (जनरल ओपीडी) सेवाओं को भी स्थगित कर दिया गया था। जबकि इस बीच संस्थान में गंभीर रोगियों के लिए ट्रॉमा व इमरजेंसी सेवाएं, दूरदराज रहने वाले मरीजों के चिकित्सकीय परामर्श के लिए टेलीमेडिसीन,वर्चुअल ओपीडी व कोविड स्क्रीनिंग ओपीडी आदि सेवाएं संचालित की जाती रहीं जो कि अभी भी जारी हैं। एम्स प्रशासन अब सामान्य मरीजों के लिए शीघ्र ही जनरल ओपीडी सेवाएं फिर से शुरू करने की तैयारी में जुट गया है। जिसके लिए सभी आवश्यक तैयारियों को अंतिमरूप दिया जा रहा है। एम्स के डीन (हॉस्पिटल अफेयर्स) प्रो. यूबी मिश्रा का कहना है कि इसके लिए सभी विभागों से जुड़े विशेषज्ञों से आवश्यक विचार विमर्श कर लिया गया है। उन्होंने बताया कि अस्पताल में करीब 15 दिनों में जनरल ओपीडी सेवाएं शुरू कर दी जाएंगी। इसके लिए विभिन्न विभागों के चिकित्सकों की बैठने के स्थान, मरीजों और तीमारदारों के लिए उचित व्यवस्था के साथ साथ सेनेटाईजर, मास्क आदि सभी जरुरी इंतजामात किए जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि जनरल ओपीडी में आने वाले मरीजों के लिए ऑनलाइन रजिस्ट्रेशन कराना अनिवार्य होगा।
