ऋषिकेश-कोरोना के साथ-साथ डेंगू, मलेरिया की रोकथाम को लेकर नगर निगम ने जोरदार तरीके से अभियान शुरू कर दिया है।इस वर्ष वैश्विक महामारी कोरोना से बचाव के साथ निगम प्रशासन के सामने डेंगू,मलेरिया से निपटने की दोहरी चुनौती है।जिसकी रोकथाम के लिए निगम बेहद सजगता के साथ जुटा हुआ नजर आ रहा है। डेंगू के मामलों की संभावना को देखते हुए नगर निगम ने भी अपनी तैयारी शुरू कर दी है। इस बार फॉगिंग अभियान शहर के साथ ही ग्रामीण इलाकों में भी लगातार चलाया जाएगा। नगर निगम महापौर अनीता ममगई ने बताया कि कोरोना से लोगों को बचाने की जिम्मेदारी के साथ साथ डेंगू जैसी खतरनाक बीमारी ना पनपने पाये इसको लेकर भी निगम प्रशासन ने एक खास रणनीति बनाई है जिसके तहत शहरी क्षेत्र से लेकर ग्रामीण क्षेत्र तक निगम द्वारा लगातार जन जागरूकता अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। सफाई निरीक्षकों की देखरेख में चल रहे अभियान में लोगों को डेंगू एवं मलेरिया के प्रति जागरूक करते हुए समझाया कि अपने घरों के आसपास पानी एकत्र ना होने दें ,कूलर में पानी इकट्ठा न हो इसका ख्याल रखें किसी भी तरह की सफाई सम्बन्धित दिक्कत आने पर मेयर हेल्पलाइन में शिकायत दर्ज कराएं।महापौर ममगाई ने बताया कि नाला गैंग के जरिए सभी क्षेत्रों में लगातर सफाई कराई जा रही है। डेंगू के मद्देनजर सभी वार्डो में नाली आदि की सफाई का कार्य प्राथमिकता पर किया जाए इसके लिए निर्देश दिए गयेे हैं।उन्होंने बतायाा कि शहर से लेकर ग्रमीण इलाकों में जितने भी गड्ढे हैं उनको भी भराया जा रहा है। इसके साथ ही हर वार्ड में फोगिंग भी ठीक तरीके से की जाये और जिन वार्डों के इलाकों में अभी तक पूरी तरह से फोगिंग नहीं हुई है वहां भी फॉगिंग का अभियान चलाया जाए इसके आदेश दिए गये हैं।मेयर ने बताया कि नगर निगम के सभी 40 वार्डो में फॉगिंग की जाएगी। जरूरत पड़ने पर फोगिंग मशीनें मंगवाई जायेंगी। बड़े स्तर पर डेंगू से निपटने का अभियान छेड़ा जा चुका है जोकि अभी जारी रहेगा।
