अलकनंदा नदी का बढ़ा जलस्तर, नदी के तेज प्रवाह के चलते टापू पर फंसा बुजुर्ग, जल पुलिस ने इस तरह किया रेस्क्यू
श्रीनगर: श्रीकोट इलाके में अलकनंदा नदी का जलस्तर बढ़ने से आज उस वक्त हड़कंप मच गया, जब एक बुजुर्ग व्यक्ति अलकनंदा नदी के तेज प्रवाह के चलते बीच में फंस गया. स्थानीय लोगों ने घटना की सूचना पुलिस को दी. सूचना पर मौके पर पहुंची जल पुलिस ने रेस्क्यू कर बुजुर्ग व्यक्ति को सुरक्षित नदी से बाहर निकाल।
बारिश से अलकनंदा नदी का जलस्तर लगातार बढ़ रहा है. जिसके चलते नदी के समीप रहने वाला एक बुजुर्ग व्यक्ति आज सुबह नदी के तेज प्रवाह के चलते बीच में फंस गया. स्थानीय लोगों ने बुजुर्ग व्यक्ति को नदी में फंसा देख घटना की सूचना पुलिस को दी. साथ ही व्यक्ति की जान बचाने के लिए दो स्थानीय लोग भी नदी में उतर गए. लेकिन प्रवाह बढ़ने के कारण दोनों व्यक्ति के साथ वहीं रूक गए. दूसरी तरफ सूचना पाकर पहुंची पुलिस ने नदी का जल स्तर बढ़ता देख जल पुलिस की टीम को सूचना दी. सूचना पाकर पहुंची जल पुलिस ने आनन- फानन में राफ्टर को तैयार कर नदी में उतारकर नदी में फंसे बुजुर्ग व्यक्ति को सुरक्षित बाहर निकाल।
श्रीकोट चौकी इंचार्ज महेश रावत ने बताया कि बुजुर्ग व्यक्ति पहले से ही नदी के किनारे रहता था, लेकिन आज नदी का जल स्तर बढ़ने से बुजुर्ग व्यक्ति फंस गया. जिसे पुलिस टीम द्वारा सुरक्षित बाहर निकाल लिया गया है।
