रामनगर: कोतवाली पुलिस ने पूर्व छात्र संघ उपसचिव को 7 किलो 152 ग्राम गांजे के साथ गिरफ्तार किया है. पुलिस ने बताया कि सूचना पर आरोपी को भावनीगंज लकड़ी मंडी से पकड़ा गया है. जिसके बाद पुलिस ने आरोपी के खिलाफ मुकदमा दर्ज कर कोर्ट के समक्ष पेश किया, जहां से उसे जेल भेज दिया गया है।रात 10 बजे पुलिस को रामनगर के भावनीगंज वन निगम लकड़ी मंडी के पास एक युवक के पास भारी मात्रा गांजा होने की सूचना मिली थी. जिसके बाद कोतवाली पुलिस ने मौके पर पहुंचकर युवक को गिरफ्तार कर लिया. तलाशी के दौरान आरोपी के पास से भारी मात्रा में गांजा बरामद किया गया। एएसआई जयपाल चौहान ने बताया कि सूचना मिलने के बाद पुलिस ने मौके पर पहुंचकर मुकेश रावत को मौके से गिरफ्तार किया है. उन्होंने बताया कि आरोपी के पास से 7 किलो 152 ग्राम गांजा बरामद किया गया है. जिसके खिलाफ मुकदमा दर्ज कर कोर्ट में पेश किया गया, जहां से आरोपी को जेल भेज दिया गया है. उन्होंने बताया कि इससे पहले भी आरोपी कई चोरी की घटनाओं में लिप्त रहा है।
